Museum of the Bible Hosts Original Christmas Musical Silent Star
The Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., has launched its latest holiday production, an original musical titled "Silent Star." Developed by the South Carolina-based Logos Theatre, the show is scheduled to run at the museum’s World Stage Theater from November 7 through December 6, 2026.
The narrative follows four orphans in 19th-century Victorian London who are transported back in time to witness the birth of Jesus Christ after making a Christmas Eve wish. Museum officials describe the production as a blend of classic literary drama and the biblical nativity story, designed to appeal to international visitors. The performance features an original score, period-accurate staging, and large-scale choreography.
This production continues a partnership between the museum and The Logos Theatre, which has previously staged adaptations of "The Pilgrim’s Progress" and C.S. Lewis’s Narnia series at the venue. Company leadership stated that the musical aims to share a message of hope rooted in the Christian gospel, maintaining the theater's commitment to producing family-oriented content based on biblical themes.
