Historic Oregon Trail Memorial Episcopal Church Remains Open in Wyoming

Located in the small community of Eden, Wyoming, the Oregon Trail Memorial Episcopal Church continues to serve as a place of worship and a historical landmark. Constructed between 1937 and 1938 by a local carpenter, the log structure was designed to honor the pioneers who traveled westward across the continent. Its architectural style reflects a revival of frontier building traditions, serving as a wayside chapel for modern travelers similar to those found in medieval Europe.

The church remains a consecrated space, featuring an interior equipped with the 1979 Book of Common Prayer and the 1940 Hymnal.
