European Leadership Forum Announces 2027 Annual Meeting in Sarajevo
The European Leadership Forum has confirmed that its 2027 annual meeting will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the closure of its longtime venue in Wisła, Poland, for renovations. Director Greg Pritchard announced that the organization has secured space at the Hotel Hills and Hotel Hollywood, located near the Sarajevo airport. The event is scheduled to proceed during the previously reserved dates of May 22-27, 2027.
Organizers began searching for a new site in late summer after learning the Polish facility would be unavailable. The search process involved reviewing over 100 community recommendations, though many were disqualified due to capacity requirements, which include lodging for 1,000 people, a large plenary hall, and 30 breakout rooms. Pritchard noted that the new location offers improved accessibility, as the hotels are situated only eight minutes from the airport, potentially saving attendees approximately 100 euros in shuttle costs compared to the previous venue.
Registration for the gathering has resumed, with early deadlines set for November and December 2026 depending on the participant's region. This move marks the fourth host city in the organization's 25-year history.
