Director Aaron Burns is set to release a new biopic titled Jimmy this November, focusing on the life of Hollywood icon James Stewart. Distributed by Fathom Entertainment, the film examines Stewart’s experiences as a World War II bomber pilot, his relationship with his Presbyterian father, and his personal faith journey. Burns drew inspiration from Stewart’s own essays published in Guideposts, which detailed the actor's reflections on prayer and the hopelessness he encountered during his military service.

Actor KJ Apa, who previously portrayed Christian musician Jeremy Camp, stars as Stewart in the film.
