Evangelist Mike Shreve Recounts Miraculous Provision During Early Ministry

Evangelist Mike Shreve, who has spent 55 years in ministry since his conversion during the 1970s Jesus Revolution, recently shared a testimony regarding divine intervention during his early years of tent crusades. While traveling to Tampa, Florida, in a dilapidated bus loaded with heavy equipment, Shreve encountered a series of mechanical failures. A large pothole damaged a rear rim, causing the tire to lose air every thirty miles, while the second rear tire was completely bald. With no spare tire and limited funds, Shreve describes the situation as a moment where his team relied heavily on prayer to continue their journey.

Upon arriving in Tampa, Shreve searched local junkyards for a replacement rim but found no success. He recounts that, in a moment of distress, he witnessed a white dove land near the bus, which he interprets as a sign of God’s presence and care. Shreve credits God with providing the necessary resources to resolve the mechanical crisis, reflecting on the experience as a testament to the Lord’s faithfulness during his early, challenging years of itinerant evangelism.
