Scottish Catholic Bishop Criticizes Proposed Abortion Law Reforms

Bishop John Keenan of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Scotland has publicly opposed a draft motion aimed at implementing recommendations from the Scottish Abortion Law Reform Expert Group. He acknowledged the hardships associated with unexpected pregnancies and called for increased emotional and material assistance for both mothers and children.
