Russian Strike Destroys Humanitarian Warehouse Operated by Christian Ministry in Ukraine

A humanitarian warehouse and office complex operated by the Christian ministry Ukraine for Christ was destroyed in a Russian strike on the evening of August 28, 2026. The organization reported that the facility, which had been in operation for four years, was used exclusively for civilian aid and contained no military equipment. The ministry stated that the attack resulted in the loss of significant quantities of food, generators, vehicles, and other relief supplies.

Since June 2022, the site served as a central hub for distributing aid to displaced families, veterans, and communities near the front lines. According to the ministry, volunteers at the location assembled approximately 175,000 food parcels, supported by over 600 metric tons of supplies provided by partners in Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. The facility functioned as a collaborative base for more than 300 churches and various nonprofit organizations. While the ministry confirmed the destruction of the site, which was located on property owned by associates of the organization, no casualties were reported.
