Nashville-based team uses AI to set entire Bible to music

A Nashville-based team led by Micah Fiechter has launched the "Music Bible," an app that utilizes artificial intelligence to convert the complete text of the Bible into musical form. The project, which involves a team of 70 people across 11 countries, offers the full scriptures in 11 different musical genres, including hip-hop, jazz, country, and rock. Developers emphasize that the AI is used to render the text exactly as written without interpretation or repetition, aiming to help users memorize and retain scripture through song.

Fiechter, who was inspired by the work of Bible translator William Tyndale, intends to expand the project to include the nine most-spoken languages by the end of 2027. The team plans to collaborate with local pastors and musicians in those regions to ensure cultural authenticity. Executive producer Michael Blanton, known for his work with prominent Christian artists, has joined the project to oversee future developments, which include plans to incorporate recordings from human musicians alongside the AI-generated content.
