Reza Pahlavi Outlines Transition Framework for Post-Regime Iran

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi recently met with a group of evangelical leaders to discuss his strategic roadmap for a potential transition in Iran. Following a significant military escalation between Iran, the United States, and Israel in February 2026—which resulted in over 200 reported deaths and subsequent retaliatory missile strikes—discussions regarding the country's future political landscape have intensified.

Pahlavi presented a five-part strategy aimed at supporting the Iranian populace, encouraging defections within the current regime, and organizing the diaspora to facilitate post-regime reconstruction. He emphasized that his objective is not to impose a specific form of government, but to lead a transition process that allows the Iranian people to determine their own political future.

A central focus of the dialogue was the future of religious liberty in Iran. Pahlavi expressed a commitment to safeguarding the rights of religious minorities, including the growing community of Christians who have faced systemic persecution under the current Islamic Republic.
