Franni Cash Reflects on Faith and Healing After Leaving High-Control Group

Singer-songwriter Franni Cash, formerly of the band We The Kingdom, is sharing her personal journey of spiritual recovery following her family's departure from a high-control religious group known as the Gathering International. Cash describes her time in the organization as a period of spiritual manipulation, a theme she explores in her new solo album, "Here I Am," particularly in the track "Raised By Wolves."

Cash credits her departure from the group as the catalyst for a transformative encounter with Jesus, which she describes as feeling like "the sky opened up." Now pursuing a solo career, she says she feels encouraged by the Lord to trust her own vision and use her voice.
