Christian leaders and advocacy groups urge voter participation in midterm elections

As the 2026 U.S. midterm elections approach, prominent Christian leaders and pro-life organizations are calling on believers to participate in the voting process. Rev. Franklin Graham, CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, encouraged Christians to pray for wisdom and consider the long-term consequences of their ballots, noting that the two major political parties hold vastly different positions on national issues.

Simultaneously, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is intensifying its efforts to influence the outcome of the elections, which include all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 Senate seats. President Marjorie Dannenfelser stated that the organization has reached over 10 million voters through canvassing and strategic communications. The group, which previously announced an $80 million investment for the cycle, emphasizes that the election results will significantly impact future abortion policy and the broader pro-life movement in the United States.
