Evangelical Alliance Hosts Support Event for Police in Argentina

The Christian Alliance of Evangelical Churches of the Argentine Republic (ACIERA) recently held a recognition and prayer event for police officers in Berisso, Buenos Aires Province. Part of the alliance’s "Iglesia Presente" (Church Present) initiative, the September 11, 2026, gathering aimed to provide spiritual support and honor the personal and family needs of security personnel.

ACIERA President Christian Hooft and Executive Vice President Jorge Gómez led the delegation, emphasizing the importance of offering prayer and accompaniment to those serving in law enforcement. The event, which included local municipal leaders and police officials, featured the presentation of plaques to ten local police stations and units. Similar programs have been conducted in other municipalities, including Quilmes, Almirante Brown, and Tigre, as part of an ongoing effort to bridge the gap between faith communities and public security forces.
