Christianity Today Announces 2026 Compassion Award Recipients
Christianity Today has announced the winners of its annual Compassion Awards, recognizing diverse ministries across the United States and internationally. The honorees include PAWKids in Atlanta, which focuses on youth education, and Cradle of Hope in Philadelphia, a long-standing organization supporting pregnant teens. Other domestic recipients include Settled in Minnesota, which develops tiny-home communities on church properties for the homeless, and the Orange County Rescue Mission in California, which provides a structured, multi-year recovery program for individuals overcoming substance abuse.
The awards also recognize international efforts, highlighting the medical work performed at Chogoria Hospital in Kenya. Each of the selected ministries receives a $2,000 grant to support their ongoing operations. In reporting on these organizations, the publication noted that it often uses only the first names of program participants to protect their privacy and history. The awards aim to celebrate the impact of dedicated individuals and faith-based initiatives in addressing social challenges and providing hope to vulnerable populations.
