Author Mark Davidson Discusses Biblical Prophecy and Middle East Conflicts

In his teaching, retired aerospace engineer Mark Davidson explores the intersection of current Middle East tensions and biblical prophecy. Drawing on his study of Daniel 7, Daniel 8, and Revelation 6, Davidson proposes a framework of four "signposts" that he believes precede the Tribulation. He argues that these prophetic passages describe a series of events centered within the Islamic world, which he interprets as being linked to the four beasts of Daniel, the ram and goat of Daniel 8, and the four horsemen of Revelation 6.

Davidson suggests that the first signpost occurred during the transition of the Iraqi government between 2003 and 2005. He further teaches that the current geopolitical conflict involving Iran may represent the beginning of the second signpost. Based on his reading of these scriptures, he predicts that Iran will eventually target the oil infrastructure of neighboring Sunni nations. Davidson presents these interpretations as a way to understand the direction of world events, framing contemporary military and economic threats as potential precursors to the prophetic timeline he has identified.
