Christianity Today Marks 70th Anniversary With Annual Week of Giving
Christianity Today is celebrating its 70th anniversary this October, marking seven decades since the publication was founded by Billy Graham. To commemorate the milestone, the organization has launched its Annual Week of Giving, a fundraising campaign aimed at supporting its mission to provide biblical perspectives on contemporary issues. The ministry has announced a matching gift program, pledging to double donations dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $350,000.
In conjunction with the anniversary, the organization also announced a transition in its editorial leadership. Erik Petrik has been appointed as the new chief content officer and editor in chief, part of an integrated leadership structure designed to guide the ministry into its next chapter. The publication continues to produce content across various media, including articles, podcasts, and reports on the intersection of faith and culture, such as recent discussions on the use of artificial intelligence in worship music and political engagement among clergy.
