Daniel Bianchi Appointed to Lead Arise Latin America Missions Movement
Daniel Bianchi has been named the new director of Arise Latin America, an initiative aimed at mobilizing young Christians for cross-cultural missionary service. The appointment was announced on October 20 by Rev. Dr. David Ro, co-founder of Arise Asia, following the movement's successful congress in Manila earlier this year. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to establish Arise in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Bianchi brings extensive experience to the role, having served as the Lausanne Movement’s regional director for Latin America since 2017. His background includes leadership positions with Operation Mobilization in Argentina, the Argentine Baptist Convention, and COMIBAM International. He also founded Conexión Oriental, an organization connecting Latin American churches with mission partners in Asia and the Middle East. Bianchi and Ro previously collaborated as regional directors for the Lausanne Movement, working together on preparations for the 2024 Fourth Lausanne Congress in South Korea.
