American Missionary Released After Nine Months of Captivity

American missionary Ryan Stigler has been released after spending nine months in captivity. Stigler, who was working abroad at the time of his abduction, credits his survival and eventual freedom to divine intervention and persistent prayer. He describes his time in confinement as a period of intense spiritual testing, stating that he felt God’s presence sustaining him through the darkest moments of his isolation.

Following his return to the United States, Stigler expressed deep gratitude for the diplomatic efforts that led to his rescue. He says he believes his release was an answer to the prayers of his family and the global Christian community.
