Senator Tim Scott campaigns for Darline Graham Nordone in South Carolina

Senator Tim Scott recently addressed a rally in Clemson, South Carolina, to support the campaign of Senator Darline Graham Nordone. During his speech, Scott expressed his belief that divine providence continues to guide the United States, while simultaneously warning voters against what he characterized as a "dark force" represented by the political left. He urged attendees to support Graham Nordone, who is seeking a full term after being appointed to fill the seat previously held by her late brother, Lindsay Graham.

Scott criticized Graham Nordone’s Democratic opponent, Annie Andrews, specifically targeting her positions on law enforcement and gender-related policies. While Scott accused Andrews of supporting the inclusion of transgender individuals in women's sports and medical procedures for minors, Andrews has publicly stated her opposition to men participating in women's sports and denied performing gender-affirming surgeries on minors. The Senate race remains competitive, with recent polling averages showing Graham Nordone leading Andrews by 2.7 percentage points in a state that has historically favored Republican candidates.
