Corporate executive shares testimony of faith-driven clean water initiative

A former Procter & Gamble employee recounts a transformative experience in Kenya that led to a global clean water initiative. While visiting a rural community, he observed a mother named Mercy collecting contaminated water from a pond shared by livestock. After demonstrating a water-purifying powder that rendered the murky water clear, he describes the moment as a divine calling that shifted his perspective from viewing the global water crisis as mere statistics to seeing the urgent needs of individual families.

Facing internal corporate pressure to terminate the struggling purification program, the executive describes seeking divine guidance to draft a bold five-year vision. He recalls writing a proposal that projected the delivery of one billion liters of water, the return of a retired CEO to mark the milestone, and international recognition from world leaders. He notes that he initially doubted the feasibility of his own words, yet he reports that every detail of the vision eventually materialized. The initiative has since provided over 26 billion liters of clean water, which he attributes to God’s providence and direction.
