NBA Star LeBron James Shares Scripture Received from Team Attendant

Jordan Bach, a 21-year-old Portland Trail Blazers team attendant, recently shared his experience of offering a message of faith to NBA superstar LeBron James. During a January 17 game at the Moda Center, Bach provided James with a small card featuring Isaiah 41:10 and the words, "Jesus loves you." Bach, who describes his own journey of faith as a transition from a transactional view of religion to a personal commitment following a period of personal struggle, stated that he felt a sense of obedience to share his beliefs when the opportunity arose.

Following the encounter, James posted an image of the verse on social media and spoke to reporters about the interaction. The four-time MVP described the gesture as a "cool moment" and expressed appreciation for the attendant's graciousness. When asked about the message, James affirmed his belief that Jesus loves him. While James generally maintains a private stance on his faith, he has occasionally referenced his belief in God and the significance of Jesus Christ throughout his career.
