Alpha UK Director Chloe Swart Explores Everyday Healing in New Book

Chloe Swart, director of Alpha UK, has released a new book titled 605 Everyday Miracles, which examines the role of prayer and healing in the lives of ordinary believers. The book is based on her doctoral research, which compiled 605 accounts of healing occurring in common settings such as workplaces and homes. Swart argues that these experiences are not reserved for extraordinary individuals, but are accessible to all Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit.

In her testimony, Swart shares that she frequently prays for the sick in Jesus' name. While she acknowledges that she sometimes experiences uncertainty regarding the immediate outcome of her prayers, she maintains a firm belief that God desires to heal. She seeks to challenge the misconception that only those with a specific spiritual gift are called to pray for healing, suggesting instead that all believers are empowered to participate in this ministry.
