Digital Preservation Project to Launch Virtual Tour of Closed Christian College

Founders of Egents Innovations, Ashley and Shalom Nwaokolo, are launching a virtual experience of the former Trinity Christian College campus in Palos Heights, Illinois. Titled “Perduras,” which translates to “you endure,” the digital project aims to allow alumni and the community to revisit the grounds after the institution’s closure. The website is scheduled to go live on October 4.

The project serves as a response to the physical shuttering of the college, which ceased operations following the 2025-2026 academic year. Leadership at Trinity Christian College, including acting president Jeanine Mozie and board chair Ken Dryfhout, announced the closure in November 2025, citing insurmountable financial challenges after more than 65 years of service. At the time of the announcement, the school served nearly 1,000 students.

The Nwaokolos stated that their goal is to ensure the history and community connection associated with the campus persist beyond the physical repurposing or sale of the buildings. While acknowledging that the digital experience is not eternal, the creators intend for the high-resolution walkthrough to preserve the legacy of the institution for those it shaped.
