Preparing for the Return of Christ

In a recent devotional, the author reflects on the importance of spiritual readiness by drawing a parallel to the practical necessity of preparation. Using a personal anecdote about failing to equip a vehicle with snow tires before a winter storm, the author illustrates how a lack of foresight can lead to avoidable complications and delays.

The author applies this lesson to the Christian expectation of Christ’s return. By highlighting the inconvenience caused by poor planning in daily life, the piece encourages believers to remain vigilant and prepared for the future. The reflection serves as a call to intentionality, suggesting that just as one should prepare for changing seasons, followers of Christ should maintain a state of readiness for His promised return.
