Patrick Clancy Discusses Forgiveness Following Death of His Three Children

Patrick stated that while Lindsay has never asked for his forgiveness, he felt compelled to offer it to avoid being consumed by bitterness. He attributes the tragedy to Lindsay’s struggle with postpartum psychosis, rejecting media characterizations of her as a "monster" and noting that she described the event to him as feeling like a dream.

Patrick, who is Roman Catholic, reflected on the profound grief he continues to carry, including the memory of holding his infant son, Callan, as he passed away in the hospital. He shared that he honors his children's memories through personal acts of remembrance, such as lighting candles at St. Patrick's Cathedral. The interview follows a recent mistrial in Lindsay Clancy’s murder case, which occurred after a lone juror declined to find her not guilty.
