Swiss Bible Reading Fellowship launches interactive 'Path of Hope' trail

The Swiss Bible Reading Fellowship (BLB) has introduced an interactive outdoor initiative titled "LifeTrails: The Path of Hope" in Bischofszell, Switzerland. Designed to engage individuals outside of traditional church settings, the project features nine stations that utilize games, audio recordings, and physical objects to facilitate reflections on themes such as loss, memory, and faith.

Project leader Tobias Weyrich stated that the initiative aims to address societal concerns by positioning Christian communities as sources of hope. The trail guides participants through various exercises, including a "suitcase" activity that prompts discussions on life priorities and a physical challenge involving wish-slips to illustrate the concept of trusting in divine assistance. Participants also use a scratch card throughout the journey, which reveals a symbol of hope upon completion.

Developed over three years, the project evolved from an initial concept of a hiking trail focused on happiness into a mobile experience centered on hope. The organization intends for these installations to serve as accessible points of connection, with QR codes providing 24-hour access to audio content regarding God's presence.
