North Carolina Pastor Justin Heath Dies in Traffic Collision

Justin Heath, the 67-year-old leader of Fore Christ Church and Cutting Edge Revelational Ministries in Mount Olive, North Carolina, died in a vehicle collision on Saturday night. The accident occurred approximately two hours after Heath delivered a sermon regarding the biblical account of Lazarus. His wife, Lynn, was among seven other individuals injured in the crash.

According to the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office, the collision took place at an intersection near Angier when a vehicle driven by an off-duty Durham police officer, Joseph King, reportedly ran a red light. Authorities have confirmed that the officer was not impaired at the time of the incident. King has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, and the Durham Police Department has initiated an internal investigation.

In his final message, Heath encouraged his congregation to move past spiritual stagnation and embrace the renewal promised in Scripture. Before his tenure in ministry, Heath served as a deputy with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office for twelve years. Tributes from fellow ministers have since highlighted his influence as a spiritual mentor and his dedication to his faith.
