Over 1,000 men attend annual 'Steadfast' conference in Germany

More than 1,000 men gathered at the Glaubenszentrum in Bad Gandersheim, Germany, from October 22 to 25 for the annual "Standhaft" (Steadfast) men's conference. The interdenominational event, hosted by the Bible school and conference center, featured plenary sessions, prayer for the German government, and a street evangelism outreach in Hanover. The town's mayor provided a welcome address to the attendees.

American pastor Bayless Conley and his son, Harrison, served as the primary speakers, focusing on themes of perseverance and faithfulness in faith, family, and professional life. The program also included training units on marriage, fatherhood, and vocation, alongside seminars featuring Sam Childers, who shared his experiences working with children in East African conflict zones.

Founded in 1975, the Glaubenszentrum is a prominent hub for German evangelical free churches, having trained over 3,200 individuals for ministry and mission work. Achim Ginsberg, a leader at the center, noted that the conference aimed to encourage men to maintain steadfastness across all areas of their lives by building upon the foundation of Jesus and the Word of God.
