Luis Palau Association Appoints Jonatan Proietti as Latin America Director

The Luis Palau Association has announced the appointment of Jonatan Proietti as its new director for Latin America, effective January 2027. The announcement was made by global director Levi Park during the 13th General Assembly of the Latin Evangelical Alliance (AEL). Proietti, who currently serves as the executive director of the AEL, will maintain his responsibilities with the alliance alongside his new duties at the association.

Proietti has been associated with the ministry since 2018, when he began leading the regional branch of the Global Network of Evangelists. Under his leadership, the network expanded to include approximately 1,000 members in Latin America. Park praised Proietti’s character and leadership, noting that the appointment represents a new generation of ministry leadership while maintaining the organization's core focus on gospel proclamation and church unity.

Jonatan Proietti succeeds his late father, Rubén Proietti, who previously held the position. During the assembly, leadership members offered prayers for Proietti, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration with local churches across the continent.
