Production Concludes on Final Season of The Chosen

Creator Dallas Jenkins has announced the completion of filming for the final season of the biblical drama series, The Chosen. The production wrapped in Texas last Thursday, marking the end of a seven-season project that depicts the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and his disciples. The final scene featured the disciples on a boat, utilizing the same vessel used during the show's first season to provide a symbolic conclusion to the narrative.

Reflecting on the journey, Jenkins expressed gratitude for the project's completion and the support received throughout the process. He noted that the series, which has reached an audience of over 100 million people, remained focused on its original mission of service. Jenkins shared that the experience deepened his personal understanding of God’s character, specifically highlighting a greater appreciation for the intimacy and personal nature of the divine. The production team described the conclusion as a moment of surrender and fulfillment of the work they set out to accomplish.
