The Chosen Concludes Filming as New Musical Collaboration Releases

The biblical drama series The Chosen has officially wrapped production on its seventh and final season, marking the end of an eight-year journey. Creator Dallas Jenkins announced the completion of filming, noting that the final season will focus on the resurrection of Jesus. The series is scheduled to continue its rollout with the premiere of season six on Prime Video on November 15, followed by a theatrical release of a feature film titled The Chosen Crucifixion on March 12, 2027.

In anticipation of these releases, a new musical project titled Songs Inspired by The Chosen: Seasons 1–5 is set to debut on October 30. The album features the newly released single "I Love The One," a collaboration between country trio Lady A and R&B group Boyz II Men. The song, co-written by Hillary Scott, explores themes of suffering and the transformative nature of faith. An accompanying lyric video highlights various miracles depicted throughout the series, reflecting the project's ongoing effort to connect biblical narratives with contemporary music.
