Dinesh D’Souza Releases New Book on Biblical Archaeology

Filmmaker and author Dinesh D’Souza has released his latest book, The Stones Cry Out: Biblical Archaeology, Prophecy, and the Last Days. The work examines various archaeological discoveries in Israel, such as sites in Jerusalem, Capernaum, and the Galilee region, which D’Souza argues provide independent corroboration for biblical accounts. He suggests that these findings challenge the perspective of biblical minimalism, which historically questioned the accuracy of the Bible’s historical narratives.

Inspired by a 2022 trip to Israel, D’Souza spent three years researching the intersection of archaeology and scripture. The book features maps and photographs, as well as QR codes that link to video footage of the sites discussed. D’Souza stated that the inclusion of multimedia elements is intended to provide readers with a clearer visual context for the artifacts and locations mentioned. The author expressed a desire to bridge the gap between academic archaeological findings and the broader Christian community, noting that he believes these discoveries are not sufficiently highlighted in many church settings.
