Zeeneta Shares Testimony of Faith Amidst Family Persecution

Zeeneta, a woman dedicated to supporting others in ministry, recently shared her childhood experiences growing up in a household hostile toward her family’s Christian faith. Raised in a community where her mother was a believer married into a family of a different religion, Zeeneta witnessed years of verbal and physical abuse directed at her mother. She recalls that her family members frequently targeted her and her siblings as well, often denying them adequate food and subjecting them to physical violence in an attempt to force her parents to renounce their beliefs.

Zeeneta recounts a harrowing incident where her relatives attempted to poison her mother. She describes watching her mother in agonizing pain while calling out to Jesus for help. Despite the life-threatening circumstances and the pressure to conform to the family's religious expectations, Zeeneta says her parents remained steadfast in their commitment to Christ. Reflecting on these events, Zeeneta explains that witnessing her mother’s endurance convinced her that the God her mother followed was real and powerful. Today, she uses her experiences to encourage other women who carry heavy responsibilities in their own homes and ministries.
