Former Texas Church Volunteer Pastor Arrested on Felony Charges
Brandon Dillard, a 48-year-old former volunteer associate pastor at IMRSN Church in Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested on October 7. He faces multiple felony charges, including indecency with a child by sexual contact, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and assault on a family or household member by impeding breathing or circulation. Dillard is currently being held in the Tarrant County jail on a $230,000 bond.
While Dillard’s social media profiles previously identified him as a member of the IMRSN Church staff, church leadership stated that he resigned from his volunteer position several weeks prior to his arrest. In a brief statement, the church confirmed he is no longer affiliated with their ministry and expressed that their prayers are with the affected family.
Grapevine police have declined to provide further details regarding the investigation, citing the sensitive nature of the case. Dillard was previously known for his active social media presence, where he frequently shared reflections on his experiences in ministry and his work with congregants.
