Disney's upcoming animated film 'Hexed' faces criticism from former psychic

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released the trailer for its upcoming animated film, "Hexed," scheduled for theatrical release on November 25. The movie follows a teenage girl named Billie who discovers she possesses magical abilities and enters a realm called Hexe to learn about witchcraft and spellcasting.

Jenn Nizza, a former psychic who now identifies as a Christian, has publicly criticized the film, describing it as "really disturbing." Nizza argues that the movie portrays witchcraft in an appealing light, which she believes contradicts biblical teachings. Citing Deuteronomy 18:10-14, she emphasized that Scripture forbids practices such as sorcery, mediumship, and spellcasting, regardless of how they are presented in media.

Nizza expressed concern that the film could influence children by normalizing occult practices. She encouraged parents to exercise discernment regarding the media their families consume, warning that such content can be spiritually harmful. Nizza noted that her own involvement in the occult began during her youth, leading her to caution against the potential impact of the film's themes on young viewers.
