Former Muslim Danny Burmawi Shares Testimony and Mission to Educate Churches

Danny Burmawi, a former Muslim from Jordan, has shared his journey of converting to Christianity and the subsequent challenges he faced. Raised in an environment where he was taught that non-Muslims were inferior, Burmawi began questioning his faith after studying Islamic history. He credits a secret convert with planting seeds of doubt that led him to read the Gospel, which he says resulted in his decision to follow Christ.

Following his conversion, Burmawi faced severe threats, including a vow from his own brother to behead him if he returned home. He fled to Lebanon in 2009 and spent the next 14 years studying theology and serving in ministry across the Middle East. Now residing in the United States, he has founded the Ideological Defense Institute. Through this organization, he provides training to churches and policymakers, aiming to help them understand the influence of biblical convictions on Western civilization and to address the ideological challenges he believes Western Christians face today.
