Dutch Bible Teacher and Evangelist Ab Klein Haneveld Dies at 81

Ab Klein Haneveld, a prominent Dutch Bible teacher, gospel musician, and founder of the Netherlands Bible Study Center (NBC), has died at the age of 81. His passing followed a recent hospitalization and a diagnosis of terminal pancreatic cancer that had metastasized. The NBC board confirmed his death, stating that all scheduled Bible studies and organizational activities have been canceled in light of the news.

Born in 1945, Klein Haneveld continued a family legacy of evangelism established by his father, Jacob Klein Haneveld. In the early 1980s, he founded the NBC, through which he produced thousands of recorded lectures. His teaching ministry was characterized by a focus on historical and prophetic contexts, covering topics ranging from the Genesis creation account to the teachings of the apostle Paul and end-times prophecy. Beyond his lectures, he was known for organizing international study trips to Israel, Turkey, and Britain to help participants explore the historical roots of the Bible.
