Animated film Light of the World reaches children in Nigeria

The Salvation Poem Project has released an animated film titled Light of the World, which retells the life of Jesus through the perspective of a young character named John. The 2025 production, now available in 32 languages, aims to make biblical narratives more accessible to younger audiences by using 2D animation to depict the ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus.

In Nigeria, Pastor Monday Edoziem, Executive Director of the Nigeria Children’s Ministers Association, utilized the film during a series of screenings. At one specific location, the ministry reported that 60 children responded to an invitation to follow Jesus after watching a scene where the main character leads his father in prayer. The project organizers state that these resources are being distributed to global partners to assist in children's evangelism efforts.
