Bethel Church leader Bill Johnson marries Linda Francoeur

Bill Johnson, the senior leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California, married Linda Francoeur in a private ceremony on August 18. The wedding took place one month after Johnson proposed to Francoeur during his 75th birthday celebration. According to reports, the ceremony was officiated by Kris Vallotton, a fellow senior leader at the charismatic church.

Johnson, who is currently on a four-month sabbatical, previously announced his engagement while speaking at the Southwest Believers' Convention. He noted that his children and extended family were supportive of the relationship. Johnson emphasized that his marriage to Francoeur is not an attempt to replace his late wife, Beni Johnson, who passed away in July 2022 following a battle with cancer. He described Francoeur as a woman of deep compassion and wisdom who has become a significant source of strength in his life.
