Church leaders gather for The Evangelism Conference 2026

Church leaders recently convened in Glasgow and London, with additional participants joining online, for The Evangelism Conference 2026. Organized by the ministry A Passion for Life, the event focused on the theme "Pathways to Christ in a time of opportunity," which organizers selected to address a perceived warming of spiritual interest among younger generations in the United Kingdom.

Keynote speaker Rico Tice, co-founder of Christianity Explored, urged attendees to adopt a "soldier’s life" in their efforts to share the Gospel. Drawing on 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, Tice emphasized that effective evangelism requires personal sacrifice and a commitment to one-to-one discipleship. He encouraged leaders to move beyond pulpit preaching by inviting individuals into their personal lives and homes, arguing that such engagement is essential for nurturing faith.

Tice further challenged the attendees to foster a culture of mission where every congregant, rather than just the pastoral staff, takes responsibility for making disciples. The conference aimed to equip leaders with strategies to understand the current cultural climate and respond with intentional, relational evangelism.
